Coffee Bean extracts another breakthrough in weight loss? Let’s find out.

When it comes to weight loss, people are desperate to find solutions to their problem. There are supplements that promise to lose weight but the reality, they are not as good as exercising and cutting back food intake. I admit that I featured a lot of diet aid reviews like supplements and some natural weight loss methods but what really caught my attention is the so-called Green Coffee Bean Extract.

This new weight loss information is all over the news that even Dr. OZ has featured this to his show. The host together with the known and famous doctor attested that the Green Coffee Bean Extract would help you lose weight. These claimed was supported by the recent scientific study. Do you know that Dr. Oz described the Green Coffee Bean Extract that turned into supplement as Miracle Pill?

What’s in the Green Coffee Bean extract that made people lose weight? This is actually prompted me to do my own research. According to the recent scientific studies, what made people lose weight is due to the compound present in the green coffee called Chlorogenic Acid (CGA). Just to let you know that this compound is also present in green tea and black tea.

Green Coffee Bean is becoming a buzz in health and wellness community. Well, everybody is talking about it. What made it most interesting is the double-blind crossover study conducted recently. In this experiment, 16 participants were supplemented with green coffee bean. In this study, experts made sure that it should be monitored strictly to get an accurate data. To make the story short, the 16 participants lose 17 pounds each which equivalent to 16 percent of their overall body fat a significant reduction of body weight.

What really struck me is, according to Lindsey Duncan Naturopathic Doctor and Certified Nutritionist, the recent study that I talked about, those participants who lose weight; they did not do anything to promote weight loss like exercise or cutting back calorie intake. They just took the pills nothing else, and yet they lose weight.

According to Dr. Duncan, each participant consumed 2500 calories per day and burn 0nly 400 calories. It means they are supposed to gain weight and yet lose 10 percent of their body weight and they did these for 12 weeks only with no side effects. That is why Green Coffee bean supplement has quickly become one of the most recommend natural weight loss diet pill.

 How Chlorogenic Acids Works?

Dr. Lindsey Duncan described that the compound works three ways in synergistic character.

1. The compound caused the body to burn glucose or sugar or burn fat mainly in the liver.

2. It slows the release of sugar into the bloodstream. The logic of this is if there is no sugar in the blood stream you body has no reason to store fat since our body turn excess glucose into fat for future use.

3. This were the synergy comes in. it totally stops your body in gaining weight instead a total weight reduction as described in the clinical study.

What are the differences of Green Coffee Bean and The Dark Or Brown Coffee Bean?

Green Coffee is a bean in its purest and raw form while the dark or black coffee bean that we have usually seen in a coffee shop or supermarkets are the roasted coffee. The most simplified explanation is that green coffee bean is a raw coffee bean that may be newly harvested from a farm. Once this raw coffee bean roasted it changed the color and became brown to dark brown.

According to scientific studies once a raw coffee bean roasted, the important compound Chlorogenic Acid (CGA) is removed. Thus, you  won’t benefit the effect of weight loss and other positive attributes of the said compound.

Some experts did their own experiments about the Green Coffee Bean, and they were all surprise about the weight loss reduction. It seriously decreases the body mass index of an obese person.

IS GREEN COFFEE BEAN BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH AFTER ALL?

Not all are good or shall we say everything should be in moderation because in excess thereof could be a consequence. Maybe as you read my introduction, I have quoted Dr. Lindsey Duncan when he said, “no side effect.”

It is true that Green Coffee Bean is one of the super foods recognized in health and wellness community, but as I did my own researched, I cannot avoid asking myself if, is there really a no side effect for over consumption of Chlorogenic Acid (CGA) compound found of in green coffee bean?

As I did my homework, US National Library Of Medicine made a statement that too much CGA or Chlorogenic Acid  in the body could increase the concentration of homocysteine. You might ask what is homocysteine? This actually an amino acid that produce by the body. The problem with an elevated level of homocysteine, it put the person of g risk of cardiovascular disease. However, these finding, whether these effects on homocysteine influence cardiovascular disease risk is still remained to be established.

Obviously, as stated in pubmed, the relation of Chlorogenic Acid compound and increase of homocysteine still inconclusive. It means that the findings still need some more studies.

My only concern is that I am hoping the said diet supplement is not just hype that some experts are claiming. Well, for one thing, there is randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled, linear dose, crossover study done to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a green coffee bean extract in overweight group.

Interestingly as I checked of some testimonials with one particular brand of green coffee bean supplement, People have experienced a different effect while on a diet pill. For some people, they lose a lot but for some did not experience a weight loss but instead experience alertness and more active during the day. However, what impressed me is that for people that lose weight, they only experienced it for one week!

For now, if you are planning to incorporate your weight-loss plan with the Green Coffee Bean Extract, don’t go further since it is available now as diet supplement. If you happen to be in a health store there many brands that offer a green coffee bean extract diet supplement.
